About Dr. John Sassin Ph.D., CRC, Owner and CEO
Dr. Sassin has worked extensively for the past 25 years in the fields of head injury rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, and special education. His work has included developing and directing continuum of care programs for difficult-to-treat individuals with neurobehavioral, physical, and developmental disabilities. Dr. Sassin’s experience includes being a Chief Executive Officer, director of rehabilitation services (C.O.O.), management, clinical supervision, finance, case management, and marketing for acute and post acute facilities. He has chaired and served on the board of directors of professional organizations that pertain to his specialties at the national and state levels. Dr. Sassin has presented internationally. He has also trained rehabilitation professionals throughout the region on the effects of traumatic brain injury, supported living for people with disability, and vocational programs: supported and competitive. He is currently an assistant professor in the disability studies program at Langston University.
